How to Join APS

Ready to start your journey with APS? Whether you’re looking to become a Will Writer or offer Probate services, our onboarding process is simple and structured to set you up for success from the get-go.

Will Writing Onboarding Process

1. Book Your Training Course – Secure your place on one of our upcoming virtual 3-day Will Writing courses.
2. Complete Your Paperwork – Submit your signed Associate T&Cs, first month’s payment, and Direct Debit mandate.
3. Prepare for Training – Receive booking confirmation and pre-course reading materials.
4. Attend Training & Take Examinations – Complete the course and required assessments.
5. Submit Membership Requirements – Fill out the IPW membership form, provide details for two professional references, and submit a DBS check.
6. Validation & Review – APS will submit your exam and membership form to IPW for validation and contact your references.
7. Receive Your Results – Get your exam results within a week (with a re-sit option if needed).
8. Start Your New Career – Once IPW approval and reference checks are completed, you're ready to begin!
